Where do I sign into my account?
You can sign into your account by clicking the following link: monarchmusiclessons.opus1.io/login
How are payments made?
Payments are made through our online portal (Opus 1). You can enter your credit card information when you sign in. We bill you on the 1st of every month.
What happens if the meeting link is not functioning properly?
If you have any trouble joining the meeting, or if the link is not working, please email your instructor right away and they will send you a new link. The instructor will leave the meeting if you have not joined/sent an email within the first 15 minutes.
What is your cancellation policy?
All cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. If we receive your cancellation at least 24 hours in advance, you will receive a credit that you can use toward future Monarch Music Lessons.
How do I cancel a lesson?
You can cancel your lesson by signing into Opus 1, selecting the date you would like to cancel and hitting the cancel button. Please do not try to cancel with any member of our team.
How many lessons can I cancel a year?
We have given a maximum of 6 cancelled lessons an annual calendar cycle to each student.
Can I reschedule a lesson?
We do not offer reschedules, but if the lesson was paid for you will receive a credit to redeem in the following month.
How are online music lessons conducted?
We conduct lessons via either Zoom or Google Meets.
How can I review what I’ve worked on in previous lessons?
Every student will receive a personalized Google doc with notes from your instructor.
How long are the lessons?
We offer 3 options for lesson lengths: 30min, 45min, and 1 hour.
What do I need for online music lessons?
You’ll need a computer with a camera and microphone, and an account with either Zoom or Google Meets. Most importantly, you’ll need to have your instrument ready to go!
What is your holiday schedule?
We are closed on the following holidays:
- Memorial Day-May 26
- July 4th
- Labor Day-Sep 1
- Thanksgiving-Nov 27
- Christmas Eve & Day – Dec 24/25
- New Years Eve & Day – Dec 31 & Jan 1st
How much notice should I give if I would like to cancel lessons all together?
We ask that all students give us at least 1 months notice in order for us to fill that slot for the instructor. This month will be fully paid and we will stop payments the following month.
How do family discounts and payments work?
All family members’ lessons are billed together on a single account and processed through one payment method. The family discount is automatically applied based on the total number of lessons, and billing occurs on the 1st of every month.
Do you offer group lessons?
All lessons are taught individually with one instructor and one student. However, groups can take advantage of our family discount system, which works the same way as it does for families.
